More about Ruthie:

Ruthie Kahl is an artist and art instructor based in Carlinville, IL. Ruthie graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from Blackburn College in 2012 and has been an instructor at the Macoupin Art Collective in Staunton, IL since 2017. Ruthie teaches classes in many mediums including, ceramics, acrylic painting, oil painting, and watercolor.

Ruthie blends her love of flowers and plants with her many years of art experience. Ruthie's evolution into floral design at Main Street Florist in Carlinville, IL allows her to introduce another element to this union and extend the range of her talent even further. Her use of floral motifs and designs allows Ruthie to create a cohesive theme throughout all mediums, which explores the elements of nature, color, and composition.
